At Mentone RSL, supporting Australian Defence Force veterans, current serving members, and their families is not just part of what we do — it's at the core of who we are. We proudly stand beside those who have served or continue to serve our country, in every role, at every stage of life.

Our commitment extends beyond the uniform. Whether you're a veteran of past conflicts, recently transitioned from service, currently serving, or the loved one of someone who serves, Mentone RSL is here for you. We provide a welcoming community, meaningful support, and a place where your experiences are understood and respected.

Who We Support:

• Veterans - We believe that veterans are anyone who has served in the ADF regardless of role or length of service. 

• Veterans of All Ages – From Vietnam to Afghanistan and beyond, including peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.

• Current Serving Members – Providing connection, guidance, and a community that understands the unique challenges of service life.

• Families of Veterans and Service Personnel – Recognising the vital role families play and offering support, social connection, and resources.

What We Offer:

• Welfare Assistance – Confidential help with financial hardship, housing, and day-to-day challenges.

• Pensions and Advocacy Referrals – Mentone RSL has an in house advocate for professional guidance navigating DVA claims, entitlements, and appeals. Click here to find out more.

• Commemorative Services – Honouring service and sacrifice through ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and other memorial events.

• Referral & Support Pathway Referrals – Access to trusted services for mental health, transition, employment, and family support.

• Hospital & Home Visits – Compassionate check-ins to support veterans during illness or recovery.
